Do you love the ocean, thrive in controlled chaos, and don’t mind smelling like neoprene and salt most days? Sea Dwellers is looking for full-time OWSI Dive Instructors and Divemasters who are ready to teach, guide, crew boats, and be an all-around dive pro in one of the best dive destinations in the world.

This is not a “stand around and look pretty” dive job — it’s hands-on, fast-paced, and incredibly rewarding but tanks are needed and best in class is expected!

What You’ll Be Doing

No two days are the same, but most include:

Teaching classroom, pool, and open-water SCUBA courses (Discover Scuba through professional levels)
Guiding certified divers and on occasion snorklers
Serving as First Mate (Deck Hand) on our boats
Helping guests in the shop (check-ins, retail, phones, emails)
Filling, moving, and lifting SCUBA tanks (yes, every day)
Prepping boats and gear in the morning, cleaning and sanitizing it all at the end of the day
Inspecting, filling and maintaining boats, whips & compressors, and rental gear
Completing student paperwork with accuracy and professionalism
Keeping guests safe, calm, and smiling — above and below the surface

Typical day starts around 7:15am, ends when the gear is clean and the ocean has been properly respected by being ready for the next days underwater adventures!

What We’re Looking For

You’ll fit right in if you:

Are a certified Open Water Scuba Instructor (active status required)
Are comfortable working in a high-energy, high-volume dive operation
Can communicate clearly in a classroom, one-on-one, and with stressed-out vacationers
Are physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and moving multiple tanks at once – multiple times a day
Can use a computer (email, basic documents, spreadsheets)
Handle responsibility, safety, and teamwork like a pro
Keep your cool in challenging or emotional situations
