The job listing told you what the role was. Nothing else.
The job listings were fine. Role, agency, start date. What they never told me was what the pay actually meant once you factored in rent, whether the visa situation was as straightforward as the employer suggested, or what day to day life actually looked like after the first few weeks.
That information existed. It was just scattered across Facebook groups, old Reddit threads, and WhatsApp messages from people who'd been there. Never in one place, never easy to find before you'd already committed.
