What is life like working in Cairns?
At work
Day boats load around 06:45 from the Cairns Marina and return by 15:30, running two or three dives per day to outer reef platforms. Hastings, Flynn, Norman, and Moore Reef are the main rotations. Instructors run OW skills on fixed moorings, lead DSDs, and manage snorkel tours. Guides cover certified groups across the boat. Expect 60–90 dives per month in high season.
